The Plan

Not sure if this holiday is a good idea. Most of my bad experiences have happened around this time of year. Did my back in, had surgery, big bike accident riding around Australia and open heart surgery. That's just in the last 3 years. But since I am more a believer in fate, than superstition, am willing to give it one more try.

There will only be 2 destinations at the start in NSW. We leave from Sydney and first stop is Nygan, then Broken Hill. From there we travel to Port Augusta in SA, maybe down to Barossa Valley, then straight north to Coober Pedy, SA. We then are planning a trip to Uluru (Ayers Rock), NT. We will then make our way up slowly to Darwin. Of course we will stop and visit Kakadu and Litchfield National Parks.

From Darwin we head back south to Kathrine and then west to Broome, WA. I am really looking forward to that. It really is beautiful country side around there. From Broome we start heading back toward NT, QLD. I hope we have time for to visit the Great Barrier Reef when we are in Northern QLD. From there down the coast to Sydney.

The trip will be around 13,500km and take around 32 days.
